Pokemon Sugar Cookie Tutorial

Here's a little Pokemon cookie Tutorial - if you are looking to make some!

So let's get the tutorial started!!

Start by outlining half of the cookie in red.

Flood the red outline with red royal icing. Let it dry about 10-12 hours. And then pipe the white outline.

Flood the white outline with white royal icing.

Pipe a little black circle of royal icing where the red and white royal icing meet. Let the circle dry for a few minutes. Then you can pipe on the "propellers". That's what I kept thinking of when I was piping them.

The outline of propellers and the circle. When they have dried a little bit, fill them in!

Fill the outline in with black royal icing. Make sure that you let the black circle outline dry for 10-12 hours.

Fill in the little circle with white royal icing.

And they are finished!

Monkey Cookie Tutorial

Finally - the monkey cookie tutorial is here!

Here's what they will look like when you are all done!

First, I outlined the ears. I was able to get a better curve with my royal icing by doing it this way. Personal preference of course. =o)

Outline the rest of the cookie!

Flood your cookie! And then give it a couple of hours to dry!

Create a monkey face and then trace the face onto the royal icing with edible food markers! Let the marker dry for a little while before you pipe over it!

Here's what it looks like after you have traced the face onto the royal icing!

Pipe the monkey face on and let it dry for a couple of hours. Then go ahead and pipe the color of eyes on.

Pipe the nose and the mouth on! And then I would wait for quite some time to pipe the black part of the eye and then to follow up with the white part of the eye. I would literally wait at least 8 - 10 hours for the black and white. The royal icing will bleed terrible with those colors.

And you're done!

Princess Belle Cookies and Tutorial

My niece turned 6! Belle is one of her favorite princesses. So we thought we should make some Princess Belle cookies and shoes.

So now let's get started with the tutorial!

Rolling out the dough on my dobord!
Cutting out the dough with our chosen cookie cutters!
Bake those cookies! And then outline them with a thick royal icing!
Flood your cookies with thin royal icing!
Plan where you want your flounces to go. (I marked mine with a red edible food marker. It made it so much easier to know where to pipe). Also, use the same royal icing that you used to pipe the original outline, for the flounces.
Add your first row of flounce.
Add your second row of flounce and then after that dries, go back and put a button dot on top to make it look  nicer.
Belle dresses and shoes...
Bagged, tagged, and ready to mail to my sweet niece, Hailey!
